Send us your submissions for the next issue: "The Real DC"

Swarms of newcomers have entered Washington, DC. Many areas are seeing new development, with neighbors, schools, and businesses trying to agree on what is best. The flavor of the city is changing. But how? What defines this city? Who are Washingtonians: just those born here, or those who have moved here, too? What have these changes given to DC, and what have they taken away? Ask yourself these questions and look around. Reach inside yourself and into your surroundings. Reflect on your experiences. Let out those literary screams and creative explosions to help answer our confounding question: what is the real DC?

Deadline: February 9
